What I like to do to get the grey covered and freshen up highlights, is what Brambila Salon calls their "coastal". </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><br></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">It's a quick root touch up around the crown and just a couple quick foils to add a little dimension around the face. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">Finished off by a killer blow out and I'm set on my color needs for at least 2-3 more weeks. Isn't it funny how quickly things evolve online? Yesterday it was all about getting bloggers, celebs and such to just talk about our brands in hopes of getting follower traffic. Today's consumer wants MORE. They want to relate to the unique experience those people (as well as your everyday customers) had interacting with your business or brand. <br />

I always say the means to the end may have changed but the end is still the same. To put it simply, we may have changed the methods we use to get attention to our businesses (social media, blogging, etc.) but we all want the same result:<i> Happy satisfied customers talking about us</i>.<br />
<br />
That's where sites like <a href="http://www.yelp.com/" target="_blank">Yelp</a> come into play. I call these sites "deal closers." That means if Twitter, Facebook, blogs, etc. are supposed to get prospects to your business/brand by generating interest, Yelp is where decision to buy (or not in some cases) happens. Here's how you can leverage your Yelp presence:<br />

<ul>
<li>Do not campaign (or bribe) clients to comment on your Yelp page. Unique algorithms designed to pick up IP addresses will shut that sudden surge of effort down before you even get started. Your good reviews get pushed back to the hidden area and other stupid things happen. It's seriously like bad karma. </li>
<li>Invite clients to share their experiences via Yelp as they are leaving your location the preferably the first time they visit. That spreads it out, lends for genuine feedback. Oh and remember, it's always easier to get testimonials from brand new clients ;-) </li>
<li>If you have a bad review, address it as the owner and show genuine interest to make that client's experience better. Generally visitors don't put much weight on bad reviews as long as they are not left dangling out there like a bad pedicure. </li>
<li>Finally, once you've got your Yelp posts nicely managed, share your "thanks" on a <a href="http://www.thedrybar.com/loveus/" target="_blank">Love Page</a>. Why? Because it's permanent real estate that YOU control. Plus it's a great place to affirm your appreciation when those new clients return.</li>

Did you know there is a sea full of investors out there hunting for their cash worthy projects? Finding them is not hard. In fact having your stuff in order is really the only hard part.<br />

Here's what investors (or potential business buyers want to see):<br />

<b>1. Two solid years of financials or at least a <a href="http://www.investopedia.com/terms/p/proforma.asp" target="_blank">pro forma</a>. They want to know that even if you don't have money, you certainly have a solid plan on how you're gonna use it.</b><br />
<b><br /></b>
<b>2. They want to know you know your market, inside and out. That means you live, breathe and sleep it. That kind of commitment to your customer translates as "passion" to an investor. Something they ALL love to see.</b><br />
<b><br /></b>
<b>3. They want to know you have a place for them to fit in. Sometimes the hunt becomes more exciting than the prize and that frankly translates into a giant waste of time for an investor. What are you gonna do with that investor and his money once you get them? Do you want his help developing opportunities, mentoring you or do you just want the money and have him take a seat on the comfy couch - let you do your thing?</b><br />

I've recently had the pleasure of coaching team of personal trainers who are about to launch a Living Social campaign for their very own unique one-hour training system. The most common question I received was <i>"how do we tell all these new customers about our products and services during this initial visit?"</i><br />

<br />
My response raised a few eyebrows: <i>"You don't."</i><br />
<br />
That's the beauty of leveraging the power of the voucher number! By inviting your new Living Social voucher toting customers to come back for a 3-Pack (three more visits) at the same voucher rate, you automatically hyper charge your one hour with new clients to four! And the best part is: they're paying you the whole time to showcase all your stuff!<br />
<br />
<br />
<b><u>Step 1:</u> Invite them to double or triple their voucher deal by letting them know they get to buy up to 3 more times at the low voucher rate by allowing you to plug in their unique voucher number in your system, upon check out.</b><br />
<br />
<b><u>Step 2:</u> Use the first visit simply to explore their wants and needs (don't tell them all about everything you have to offer). This will catch them by surprise because they most likely expect you to try to tell them all about everything you have to offer during this first visit. In my <a href="https://www.groupcouponsales.com/groupcoupon-sales-training-program/" target="_blank">online training program</a>, I call this step "discovering wants and needs" to gather bullets.</b><br />

<b><u>Step 3:</u> When they come back to see you on their 2nd visit (because they bought two or three more using their voucher number), repeat back their bullet points and ask them permission to show them <i>something </i>you have that might be of interest to them. </b><br />
<br />
You will not only get a grateful "yes" because you remembered what they shared, you're actually now getting permission to show and sell your greatest new toy, service or program. Best part? Your client feels ZERO sales pressure! In fact they will actually thank you for taking the time to tell them more about what you have to offer. Okay now I'm getting it. Went to my sources to figure out the business side of his new popularity (of course I did). Basically he's been around for like over 12 years in Asia, but just recently signed with new management (YG Entertainment) and since has had a ton of new social media celeb cross endorsements from American artists like Katie Perry and Brittany. Views exploded on <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9bZkp7q19f0" target="_blank">YouTube</a> and now he's touring the American circuit (talk shows, etc) teaching everybody "Gangnam Style".<br />
<br />
So today's little takeaway for me, is yet more affirmation: America is STILL the most powerful branding/marketing machine in the world and it's not cool until Hollywood says it's cool. Love it!<br />

Thankfully, there are great tools out there to implement the ladder strategically and effectively. In fact one of the most detailed launch strategy step-by-step instructional I’ve found yet, is posted on the <a href="http://www.seomoz.org/blog/launching-a-new-website-18-steps" target="_blank">Daily SEOBlog.</a> </span><span style="color: #3c3b2a; font-family: "Lucida Grande"; font-size: 10pt;"> It details <a href="http://www.seomoz.org/blog/launching-a-new-website-18-steps" target="_blank"><b>18 Start Up Tools</b></a> from everything like setting up visitor analytics, to site de-bug and testing software, scalability metric implementation, to social media and blogger relationship management. Almost all the tools have free trials, perfect for the low to no start-up budget. It is indeed one of the most complete "launch strategy tools" list ever.</span><br />

I’ve said it before and I will say it again. Where else can one get a complete turnkey point of sale, a huge surge of permission based market penetration, complete back end metrics plus a prediction based dashboard to forecast sales of the new product or service. Granted it is a profit sharing model, but what entrepreneur would not rather split proceeds in the initial phases of inception, versus fronting money for marketing with no guarantee of results? The group coupon compensation model is all performance based (ie: the perfect commission based salesperson). It also offers tons of free administration services to process client transactions, answer questions and of course track sales as they are happening.
