Keeping one's skin young and healthy on a daily basis is a must, but sometimes, it's time for a deep reset. This new reset series is a winning combination in my book:

Day 15- Microdermabrasion
Resurface/Retexture Dull Surface Skin While
Removing All Surface Pigmentation
Day 30 - IPL Photofacial
Lift Remaining Pigmentation Laying Deep Below the
Skin's Surface While Stimulating
New Skin Growth and Collagen Production
Day 45 - Microdermabrasion
Final Phase of Resurfacing/Retexturing Designed to
Reveal Brand New Baby Skin That's Been
Nurtured Throughout the Last 30 Days.
Stem Cell Anti-Aging Kit
The Perfect Take-Home Product to Nourish Skin
Through the Healing Process Between IPL/Microderm Treatments!
IPL Photofacial
It's basically the process of pulsing laser light deep into the dermal layer of the skin. The light slightly injures the outer later of the skin cells it touches. As the skin cell repairs itself, it generates new collagen production and ultimately new skin forms, pushing old skin (and pigmentation) to the surface.
The series is done in sets of three and renders extraordinary results by itself; but combining it with microdermabrasion, has literally turned back the clock 7 years. The treatments are done every 15 days, while an apple stem cell anti-aging serum is applied daily in between each session.
I have to say, I'm amazed at the results of this 45-day skin rewind series. Loving every minute of it!

Spa Life Show a Reality?
About a month ago I stepped into overseeing operations and marketing for one of my spa clients. OMG...talk about drama, everything from half hour discussions about eyebrows to some woman bringing in pictures of her seared vagina from some laser Brazilian procedure she had done somewhere else. Add in the drama happening behind the scenes with investors, medical doctors (and their egos), we're talking a precious cluster of craze only I could appreciate as a Business Broker. And did I mention my partner and Spa Consultant Anita Neumann - no words to describe this beautiful mess of a woman.
Heard this week there's a producer interested in picking up this project as a reality show after I showed them this little clip I produced a few months ago of one of my favorite clients.

Aging Young
The secret to aging young is all about implementing a healthy skin maintenance plan. It's like anything else you want to last you a life time. It's pretty simple. If you take care of your skin, it will take care of you.
People ask me all the time what I do to keep my skin so healthy, especially since I work sometimes up to twelve hours a day. Here is my routine:
1. Exfoliate 2-3 times per week with a buff sponge and mineral scrubs
2. I do an exfoliating peel once a month
3. Sunblock everyday (SPF 30 - not just depend on what comes in foundation)
4. Moiturize every night - face and neck
I also do serums for my eyes regularly, make it a point to replace collagen every now and then with fillers like JUVÉDERM and I'm sure I'll do a little Botox when I start seeing the 11's show up between my eyebrows. One of my favorite things to do to stimulate collagen is to put a warm damp towel on my face and put my neck massager on it for about 10 minutes per area (and no I don't mean a Rabbit vibrator). The flat side of a back massager does great.

How Xbox Is Going to take over the Digital Communications World
I know what you're thinking, "I don't play video games and have no need for an Xbox." Not unusual, most adults ages 35+ still look at these little devices as a super sophisticated grown up version of ATARI. Here's the deal though, it's not an ATARI, NINTENDO nor any other kind of device for that matter. It's a super sophisticated peripheral that can cleverly sit at the helm of your TV and deliver everything from movies, Internet and on demand TV. That's not the story here though. Ready to follow me through my train of thought? I did predict the downfall of Netflix over a year ago and was right on the money, if that makes you feel any better.
Normally, I wouldn't be this emphatic about yet another entertainment peripheral (I do have a life); but this time, I see a formula coming together that could very well be what defines digital communications for everyday households. Why? It's called money people; and the Xbox is about to become a freaking retail point of purchase (ie. cash register), one Americans will not only use, but totally depend on.
Here's how it works:
1. Who creates the content we watch on TV, Movies, etc? If you said Hollywood, you get a gold star. So what if I told you Hollywood is now taking that reality show and fragmenting out the story line into bite size social media pieces? Imagine Kim's Fairy Tale Wedding told as mini stories all across the web, leading up to one big E! Network release of a two part show. That part is already happening. The process is called "Curation"and entertainment producers (well the sophisticated ones) know exactly how to tell that story in a way that makes people hungry for more.
2. Next, is the magical part. What if while you're watching Kim getting ready at her vanity you could click on the stuff she's using and order or it right there online? Possible? Yes. The LookStore is already paving the way for celeb endorsed point of purchase ordering. Only part missing is embedded links from a TV show to the store, and PRESTO! You're now a part of the retail story. That technology is currently in the works BTW.
3. Finally, you've not only watched the mini-shows leading up to Kim's Fairy Tale Wedding, you're also all in love with the cool make-up items you bought right from Kim's vanity. Think you're going to share your specialness with your peeps? Duh. Television and film producers are now thinking about ways to tie their content directly into social sites' like Facebook and YouTube's API. Not rocket science. I did it with my social gaming app earlier this year. The key for them is now to turn the whole experience into more social commerce opportunities. I'd share how I think that's going to work, but then I'd have to kill you.
So there ya go folks. A basic overview of how that little ol Xbox just rocked out a girl's reality show watching experience. A big emphasis on the word "basic". I could share about fifty more ways this little box is going to rule the world for advertisers but it's only 9AM and I'm not done with my coffee.

The Classic (and Sexy) White Blouse
It's the fit that hugs in all the right places, a collar just high enough to frame your face beautifully and contrast perfectly down your tan neckline. The buttons, oh how they define your mood. Undone one says you're ready, undone two means a show. And by a show I mean that amazing new lingerie you treated yourself to the last time you visited your favorite boutique.
I absolutely LOVE the classic tailored white blouse. With jeans and loafers, it's an afternoon at the polo match; with a pencil skirt and heels, you own the boardroom and by itself (with nothing but a cute pair of undies) you can easily drive your man to insanity. Never underestimate the power of the classic white blouse ladies. It's one look you can NEVER get wrong.

How Passion = Profits
God I love this town...where perception becomes reality. It's no different in the business world. You get excited about what you do, it becomes infectious. That infectious attitude then spawns viral activity and great online PR. Here's a quick clip to share how one savvy Glampreneur Matriarch has done it throughout Beverly Hills, Brentwood and the Palisades for over 20 years.

Non-surgical, non-injectable thermo skin-tightening machine
During our lunch the other day, my friend Anita (long time Beverly Hills day spa owner) looked at me and said "it's time for Botox dear." I spent the first thirty seconds quieting the sirens in my head, and the next preparing myself for the "why?" Apparently the elevens are starting to develop (you know the two little lines in between your eyebrows). I'm also losing collagen under my eyes and well, I could go on, but I'd like to stay on the positive side of this one if you don't mind. Thx.
I reminded Anita that I'm not a fan of pain and really would rather not do injections if, I can help it. "Thermo collagen stimulation," she responded, then took me by the hand to see her friend Marianna at the Rejuvatech spa in the Palisades. She owns this European celebrity frequented super secret place only a handful of people know about (does no advertising). Apparently she's the first to have this European technology here in the states and people are going crazy over it. I can see why: Instant result! Been smooth ever since. Radio waves...who knew!
